Ancestral Dances: A Movement Journey through Past & Present Memories

African diaspora dance workshops led by Tamara Williams offers a robust and culturally enriching experience. Participants will explore diverse dances and their cultural contextualization including African American Ring Shout, Rumba, Palo Mayombe, Samba roots, African -Brazilian Orixá traditions, and Samba Afro. 

Running twice weekly from February June 2024 at the University City Regional Library.
