    The night the Queen City anxiously waits for every year is finally here! It will once again be painted with those signature colors of Brazil: green, yellow, and blue. For the 5th anniversary of A Night in Rio, the Latin American Coalition is proud to bring the contagious energy and enthusiasm of Brazilian Carnaval to the Grady Cole Center in Uptown Charlotte on Saturday, February 22, 2014.     The night the Queen City anxiously waits for every year is finally here! It will once again be painted with those signature colors of Brazil: green, yellow, and blue. For the 5th anniversary of A Night in Rio, the Latin American Coalition is proud to bring the contagious energy and enthusiasm of Brazilian Carnaval to the Grady Cole Center in Uptown Charlotte on Saturday, February 22, 2014. Get a taste of Brazilian Carnaval through dancing, live music (Batucada, Samba, Tropicalia, and other Brazilian beats), delicious food and drinks, and marketplace. Doors open at 7pm followed by a FREE samba lesson at 7:30. Join us for the unforgettable experience of Brazilian Carnaval! Sold out for the past 4 years!

    A Night in Rio is proud to have the Arts & Science Council, WSOC-TV, and TV 64 as the 2014 presenting sponsors. Proceeds from the event will benefit the programming of the Latin American Coalition.

    Admission Info:

    Pre-sale tickets are available to purchase for $12. Once the pre-sale has ended tickets will only be available for purchase at the Grady Cole Center, for $15.00 the day of the event.
