    Caroline is an active member of the National Association of Women Artists in New York, NY, a repeat recipient of Artist Grants from both the Charlotte Mecklenburg Arts & Science Council and the Arts Council of York County. She exhibits annually across the United States in group and solo exhibitions.     Caroline is an active member of the National Association of Women Artists in New York, NY, a repeat recipient of Artist Grants from both the Charlotte Mecklenburg Arts & Science Council and the Arts Council of York County. She exhibits annually across the United States in group and solo exhibitions. With artworks housed in several corporate collections and with numerous private collectors in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany acquiring her work, it is enjoyed by many audiences. As a fine arts professional, specializing in areas of 2-dimensional design, Caroline received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from East Carolina University and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Winthrop University both with a painting concentration. In 2016, her work was selected to be a part of the 2017 ARTPOP Billboard Street Gallery program in Charlotte and was awarded ‘best in show’ during the exhibit InVISIBLE in Pittsburgh, PA. Caroline was an Affiliate Artist in Resident at Charlotte’s McColl Center for Visual Art + Innovation for summer 2015. Earning supplementary praise, the solo exhibit Standing in the Silent Pool came to conclusion at UNC-Charlotte in 2014. Several pieces from the solo exhibit The Tints That Glow at the Center for the Arts in Rock Hill, SC were selected to represent artists of South Carolina during the state’s 2013 Biennial. In 2012 her work was awarded ‘best in show’ by E. Shiner the director of the Warhol Museum during the exhibit From a Different Point of View in Pittsburg, PA. Moreover, Caroline’s professional experience of the past twenty plus years includes adjunct professor of art and design, commercial art gallery manager, conservation picture framer, arts administrator, arts marketing professional, information/cataloguing manager, donor relations professional, and special events coordinator. Caroline's artwork investigates the internal lives of the female. Based upon a foundation exploring femininity and its evasive characteristics, her work’s emphasis has unfolded into a deeper examination of the woman’s pursuit for identity. Through studying and employing a variety of objects important to females, current work focuses upon the woman’s journey through life and her search for a deeper understanding of herself. Interested in the paths and routes of women, it is Caroline's goal to deepen the public's perception of women and the feminine world.
