    Admission:

    No fee for general entry. Donations are accepted.

    9am - 5pm


    Parking Information:

    From Interstate 77 south of Charlotte take Interstate 485 East (Exit 65-B). At the Pineville exit take Polk Street south through the town of Pineville for about two and one half miles. The President James K. Polk State Historic Site is on the left.

    Parking is FREE.


    Accessibility Information:

    The visitor center and restrooms are accessible to all visitors. The path to the historic area may require assistance. There are three steps to enter the house and kitchen.
