Carolinas Aviation Museum

The museum is home to USAirways Flight 1549, the "Miracle on the Hudson" Airbus A320 aircraft.  Among the museum’s collection is a full scale replica of the Wright Flyer, the historical Piedmont Airlines DC-3, an F-14 Tomcat and many more types of military, commercial  and private aircraft.  Every aircraft has a story to tell, and the Carolinas Aviation Museum is the place to go to discover, experience, learn and be inspired about the fascinating development of aviation through the years.

Parking & Transit

From I-77 take exit 6B the Billy Graham Parkway toward the Charlotte/Douglas Intl Airport. Turn Left onto Morris Field Drive. Turn Right onto Minuteman Way. Follow Minuteman Way to the dead end. Turn Left onto First Flight Drive. Proceed up the hill. The Carolinas Aviation Museum will be on your right.
