Davidson Parks & Recreation

The Town of Davidson Parks and Recreation Department provides quality year-round leisure activities for children and adults. Youth sports include basketball, t-ball, and flag football; youth activities like creative drama, School Day Out trips, and art are also available. Adults also have a variety of choices like art classes, water aerobics, pottery classes, and day trips to local areas of interest. Parks and Recreation also sponsors some of Davidson most popular town events like Town Day and the July 4th Celebration.

Parks and Recreation offices are located at 416 Armour Street in Davidson. Other facilities include: Roosevelt Wilson Park on Griffith Street; McEver Baseball Fields on South Street; Beaver Dam Historic Park at 19600 Davidson-Concord Road; and the soccer fields at River Run on Davidson-Concord Road. Fisher Farm Park, a 200-acre farm located on Fisher Road just outside of Davidson, was recently purchased by the town and will become a wonderful addition to our Parks and Recreation facilities.
