Charlotte Music Awards
The Charlotte Music Awards showcases all aspects of music in Charlotte and the Carolinas. Our goal is to enhance the profile of the music community in th e region and support local music and local artists. We have the talent base. And the region has a rich musical tradition.
The Charlotte Music Awards is affiliated with the L.A. Music Awards, which is the longest running major awards show for independent artists in the country and is now in its 17th year.
The Charlotte Music Awards presents a monthly Showcase Series that culminates in an annual Awards Ceremony, the first of which will be held in September 2007. This event will be a Hollywood-style ceremony, celebrating the best of the region’s vast and diverse musical talent. Awards will be presented for all types of musical accomplishments across a broad range of genres (see Award Listing). Moreover, the Charlotte Music Awards will present Lifetime Achievement Awards to deserving individuals who have shown a sustained commitment to music as part of or beginning in the Carolinas music scene.
