Don Gibson Theatre

The Don Gibson Theatre, "More Than A Concert Venue" was originally The State Theater, an Art Deco gem, opening its doors to the public on October 27, 1939. In 2008, construction began to transform the movie house into The Don Gibson Theatre, honoring singer/songwriter Don Gibson and opened in November 2009. Gibson penned country music super hits “Oh Lonesome Me,” “I Can’t Stop Loving You,” “Sweet Dreams” and other mega hits from 1957 to well into the 70’s. Today we bring in musicians from all around the country and world to perform on the Don Gibson Stage.
