This Free Teen Visual Arts Program meets at the Eastway Regional Recreation Center on Saturdays mornings 11:00am - 12:30pm with lessons, workshops, guest speakers and artist talks teaching Photography, Graphic Arts, Videography and Journalism. Teens ages 13-19 will be introduced to various disciplines of visual arts during the weekend program. In addition to the lessons, participants will build a portfolio, capture video for the "Behind The Ink" documentary and showcase work at a gallery show and movie screening. This program is sponsored by Culture Blocks, a community partnership funded by Mecklenburg County.
